Position: Logistics Coordinator (Track & Trace)Department: OperationsReports To: Operations ManagerLocation: Suburb Cleveland, OH (onsite)Compensation: ~$50,000 base salary (DOE)Status: Full-time, PermanentOverviewOur client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join their operations team. This position plays a critical role in daily freight management ensuring shipments are executed on time, tracked accurately, and communicated effectively to both internal teams and customers.The ideal candidate has prior experience in logistics operations or transportation support and thrives in a fast-paced environment where precision and communication are key.Core ResponsibilitiesProactively track and trace all active shipments to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.Monitor carrier performance and communicate any potential service issues or delays.Update customer portals, load boards, and TMS systems with real-time status information.Serve as a primary point of contact for carriers and drivers regarding load status, appointments, and updates.Collaborate with Account Management and Carrier Sales teams to resolve service disruptions.Build loads and ensure all shipment documentation is complete and accurate.Maintain accurate data entry and ensure compliance with company SOPs.Support after-hours or weekend coverage as needed.Requirements13 years of experience in a logistics coordinator, track & trace, or operations support role within a 3PL, brokerage, or asset-based carrier.Strong understanding of freight operations, terminology, and TMS usage.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to multitask in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and transportation management systems.Positive, team-oriented attitude and strong attention to detail.Ideal Candidate SnapshotPrior experience in track & trace or freight operationsOrganized, dependable, and thrives under pressure.
