What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Technician (Full-Time) position at Top Stack?
One of Top Stack’s clients in Southern New Jersey, has retained Top Stack to assist them in hiring an IT Technician to join their team. This is a full-time salaried position. Hybrid schedule (mix of on site and work from home).
The IT Technician is responsible for providing technical support to all employees, both in-house and remote in addition to supporting our client's continued modernization efforts by participating in technical projects as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Provide prompt and courteous technical support of all devices (Laptops, printers, servers, network/communications equipment, etc.) both locally and remotely.
• Maintain current and future device compliance using Autopilot, Intune, and Microsoft Endpoint Management.
• Develop strong relationships with 3rd party vendors to support offices around the globe.
• Maintain inventory of all IT managed devices across the firm globally.
• Conduct basic user trainings on core applications and systems as needed.
Qualifications:
• A strong understanding of Windows OS architecture with the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve Windows related issues.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and its supporting Azure functions.
• Basic network understanding including TCP/IP, UDP, IP schemas, VPN, LAN/WAN design and administration, and wireless networking is desirable.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure, Azure Active Directory, Intune, and/or Sharepoint is a plus.
Education and/or Experience:
• High School diploma required with 4 years of technical experience in an operations and support role. OR
• Associate degree relevant field (MIS, Computer Science or other technical degree) with 2 - 3 years of technical experience in an operations and support role. OR
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (MIS, Computer Science) with 1 year of technical experience in an operations and support role.
