Budget Manager


Overview:

A mission-driven healthcare organization is seeking a Budget Manager to lead and support the organization’s budgeting, forecasting, and financial management activities. This role is responsible for developing the annual budget, preparing forecasts, analyzing results, and partnering with leadership to optimize financial performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and oversee the annual operating and capital budgets across departments and programs.
  • Generate quarterly financial forecasts and analyze variances between actual and projected results.
  • Establish and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Lead initiatives focused on revenue optimization and expense management.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop budgets for new programs, services, and funding opportunities.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, summaries, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor and maintain allocation of direct and indirect costs.
  • Conduct training sessions or workshops to support departmental budget development.
  • Support process improvements and other strategic financial initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (advanced degree or certification a plus).
  • 5 years of experience in budgeting, financial analysis, or related financial management roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts).
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, data analysis, and forecasting methods.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with leadership teams.
  • Bilingual capabilities a plus.


Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
