What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure quality, consistency, and efficient service
- Lead, train, and develop kitchen staff, including hiring, scheduling, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
- Manage food and supply inventory, control costs, and reduce waste
- Collaborate closely with front-of-house leadership to ensure smooth service and strong communication
- Assist with menu development, including seasonal specials and new items
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
- Handle administrative responsibilities such as labor tracking, shift planning, and kitchen budgeting
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager, Executive Chef, or Lead Cook in a high-volume kitchen
- Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to motivate and retain staff
- Solid understanding of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and cost control
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Competitive annual salary: $46,000–$56,000, based on experience
