POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties.

- Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions
- Summarize and prepare financial status and transactions reports, by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, including profit and loss statement, and other necessary reports
- Create Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual for accounting policy and regulations; document and monitor internal controls in support in auditing team
- Train and mentor staff accountant
- Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies
- Assist with external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors
- Coordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments
- Secure financial information by completing database backups
- Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential
- Other duties as assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred, or Associate's degree along with work equivalent based on experience needed. CPA preferred.
Experience: 5 years’ experience of experience in accounting. Preferrable three years public accounting along with one to two years in private sector. Experience with financial reporting is a strong requirement.
Skills:
Must be knowledgeable with Microsoft Suite of products including Excel, Word and Outlook Highly detailed and organized. Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines. Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of associates. Superior analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with accounting software and programs. Strong written and oral communication.
Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
