About the Role
Top Rated Cleaning & Maintenance is looking for an organized, dependable, and proactive leader to join our team as Janitorial Operations Manager. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of our janitorial and facility service accounts — making sure every building is properly staffed, every service meets our quality standards, and every client relationship stays strong.
You'll coordinate staffing, run inspections, train and support field crews, manage supplies and equipment, and be the go-to person keeping our accounts running smoothly. What You'll Do
- Oversee janitorial crews and daily field operations, working alongside employees in day-to-day tasks
- Build and manage staffing schedules; arrange coverage for call-outs and no-shows
- Conduct regular building inspections and quality assurance checks
- Hire, train, and onboard new employees; lead the launch process for new accounts
- Track inventory, coordinate supply pickup/delivery, and keep every account properly stocked
- Respond promptly to client concerns and service requests
- Track employee time and attendance
- Maintain strong client and employee relationships
- Partner with sales, client success, and ownership to support account growth and retention
- Uphold company standards for professionalism, communication, and appearance
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $52,000–$60,000/year, paid bi-weekly
- Training Pay: $20/hour for your first week

What We're Looking For
- Prior experience in janitorial, facilities, or operations management (leadership experience strongly preferred)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable managing people, schedules, and multiple accounts at once
- Clear, professional communicator
- Reliable and flexible — this role is primarily evening hours, with occasional mornings, weekends, or after-hours availability needed for emergencies and client requests
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (mileage stipend provided)
- Self-starter who can be trusted to make good decisions in the field without constant oversight
Schedule
Full-time, minimum 40 hours/week. This role is primarily evening hours, with flexibility required for occasional mornings, weekends, or emergency staffing needs and client requests.

Some Cleaning duties will be required:
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Restroom cleaning and sanitation
- Trash removal and liner replacement
- Dusting and disinfecting high-touch surfaces
- Glass and window cleaning
- Gym, lobby, hallway, and office cleaning as needed
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience required
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Spanish/English bilingual Preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs
- Background check will be required
