Role Description The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Provo, UT. This role oversees daily warehouse and fulfillment activities, including picking, packing, and kitting operations, to ensure orders are processed accurately and on schedule. The Operations Manager coordinates staffing, assigns tasks, and monitors workflows to maintain productivity and quality standards. This position is responsible for implementing and refining operational procedures, tracking performance metrics, and addressing issues that affect efficiency or safety. The role also includes collaborating with leadership on resource planning, supporting training and coaching of team members, and maintaining clear communication across shifts.
Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse, supply chain, or fulfillment operations, including oversight of picking, packing, and kitting processes.
- Skills in team leadership, scheduling, and performance management to guide and support our warehosue team.
- Ability to analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements using basic data and metrics.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple operational demands.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with team members, vendors, and management.
- Comfort with using warehouse management systems or related software; proficiency with standard office tools (e.g., spreadsheets, email).
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices and commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient facility.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role in logistics, distribution, or manufacturing is required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights during shifts, with reasonable accommodations as needed.
- Forklift certification (may be obtained after hire)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in operations, business, or supply chain is a plus.
