Summary
The NetSuite Developer will be responsible for the administration, development, and ongoing optimization of the organization's NetSuite ERP platform and related business systems.
Key Activities
- Serve as the primary administrator for NetSuite, including user access, roles, permissions, workflows, and system configuration.
- Own system governance, change management, and release coordination.
- Maintain saved searches, dashboards, reports, KPIs, and data imports/exports.
- Monitor system performance, data integrity, and security controls.
- Maintain system documentation, technical specifications, and change logs.
- Hands-on experience administering and supporting RF-Smart warehouse solutions within NetSuite, including configuration, troubleshooting, workflow optimization, and user training.
- Design, develop, and maintain custom NetSuite functionality using SuiteScript (1.0 and 2.x).
- Develop and support Suite Flows, RESTlets, and Suite Analytics solutions.
- Troubleshoot, refactor, and optimize existing scripts and customizations.
- Support data migrations and complex data transformations.
- Evaluate build vs. configure vs. integrate decisions to meet business requirements.
- Support and maintain integrations between NetSuite and third-party systems (e.g., EDI, WMS, SaaS platforms).
- Monitor integration performance and troubleshoot data flow issues.
- Support IPaaS solutions (e.g., Celilo or similar tools).
- Translate business requirements into scalable ERP and systems solutions.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, and leadership on process optimization and reporting needs.
- Identify system-driven efficiencies and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Support audits, compliance requests, and data accuracy initiatives.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting ERP integrations with third-party systems.
- Experience participating in system implementations, upgrades, or major enhancements.
- Prior experience in a hybrid ERP administration and development role preferred.
Educations & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field.
- 10 years of experience working with NetSuite ERP in a production environment.
- 5 years of experience in NetSuite administration, including configuration, workflows, roles, and reporting.
- 5 years of experience developing and supporting SuiteScript (1.0 and/or 2.x).
