Summary
This Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime and support continuous operations.
Key Activities
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting on packaging and converting equipment.
- Maintain and repair machinery such as baggers, slitters, rewinders, conveyors, sealers, and related production equipment.
- Execute preventative maintenance programs and document completed work.
- Respond to breakdowns and prioritize repairs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Work closely with production and operations teams to ensure equipment uptime.
- Follow all safety, GMP, and plant procedures.
Preferred Skills
- Maintenance experience in packaging, converting, printing, plastics, or related manufacturing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude; electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus.
- Experience with motors, drives, and PLC troubleshooting (not programming-heavy).
- Comfortable in a manufacturing environment (shift work possible).
Educations & Experience
- Maintenance Technician experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
- Must be located in Nevada (no relocation, no remote).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
