Account Executive
Compensation: $50,000 - $70,000 Base Commission & Residuals
Type: Contract-to-hire
Our client is a growing provider of Payroll and HR software solutions seeking an Account Executive to join their sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and helping organizations improve their payroll and HR processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective clients through cold calling, email outreach, networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Identify and engage decision-makers to understand their payroll, HR, and workforce management needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations tailored to client requirements.
- Guide prospects through the sales process from initial outreach through close.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to implementation.
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity and consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
- Attend occasional trade shows and industry networking events.
Qualifications
- Experience in a quota-carrying B2B sales environment.
- Proven ability to prospect and generate new business opportunities.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently in a target-driven environment.
- Professional, customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Experience selling software, payroll, HR, SaaS, or business services is highly preferred.

- Base salary of $50,000 - $70,000 depending on experience.
