This role partners with internal teams and vendors to protect systems, data, and digital assets while ensuring regulatory compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead cybersecurity initiatives, audits, risk assessments, and penetration testingDevelop and enforce security policies, controls, and standards across infrastructure and applicationsOwn Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and system authorizationsProactively monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents and threatsManage vendor security assessments and business fraud mitigationEnsure compliance with regulatory and industry security standardsDeliver executive and board-level cybersecurity reportingLead security awareness and training programsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)5–8 years of progressive experience in information security or cybersecurity leadership rolesIndustry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISAStrong knowledge of threat/vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, and red/blue team methodologiesHands-on experience with security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, encryption)Experience with security frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, NIST 800-series)Knowledge of cloud environments, networks, servers, operating systems, and endpointsExcellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skillsAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced, regulated environment and make critical decisions under pressureCompany DescriptionTop Prospect Group founders and management team offer more than 25 years of experience in Information Technology and Creative Staffing.
