Top Hat Chimney Sweeps AL is currently hiring for a full-time Production - Construction Worker to work on chimney repair, construction, installation, and remodeling projects throughout the Auburn, AL area. We pay our laborers a competitive wage of $15 - $20/hour with raises for each certification earned and the potential to increase pay quickly.

THE DAY-TO-DAY

As a Production - Construction Worker, you drive revenue by assisting with the repair and construction work for our residential clients. You install and remodel chimneys, chases, and fireplaces as well as perform some roof repair as needed. Helping with other tasks around the site, you also erect and break up scaffolding or ramps, unload equipment, carry materials, and break down old forms or structures. You keep the site clean by discarding old materials and debris. Then, you prepare and use construction materials to build new structures! You even perform some minor masonry repair. You also provide great customer service as you interact with clients, make add-on sales, and get referrals. You enjoy working with a productive and fun team while building great chimneys that clients can enjoy!

REQUIREMENTS FOR A PRODUCTION - CONSTRUCTION WORKER

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Experience operating equipment like saws, drills, pneumatic hammers, etc.
• Comfortable working on a roof (heights)
• Math and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and follow instructions
