Traveling Superintendent – Hotel Construction

Lead field execution for ground-up hotel and hospitality construction projects from mobilization through final turnover. Oversee subcontractors, site logistics, scheduling, safety, quality control, and daily jobsite operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

What You'll Do

  • Lead daily field operations for ground-up hotel and hospitality construction projects from mobilization through completion.
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and site logistics to maintain production, quality, and schedule performance.
  • Establish site logistics plans, coordinate workflow, and ensure efficient project execution.
  • Review subcontractor scopes, submittals, schedules, and invoices to support coordination and compliance.
  • Partner with Project Managers to monitor budgets, project costs, schedules, and overall project performance.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings, progress meetings, and site inspections to maintain a safe and organized jobsite.
  • Coordinate inspections, material deliveries, and project milestones to maintain construction schedules.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, safety documentation, and project records.
  • Oversee punch list completion, final inspections, and project closeout.
  • Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to field personnel, project engineers, and junior team members.

What We're Looking For

  • 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
  • Proven experience leading ground-up hotel, hospitality, or similar commercial construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction means and methods, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and field operations.
  • Experience managing projects from site mobilization through final turnover.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control, safety requirements, jobsite organization, and construction documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and subcontractor scopes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred or ability to obtain.
  • Experience with Procore or similar construction management software preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
