Core Responsibilities
- Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and execute detailed production schedules (daily, weekly, monthly) based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and available capacity.
- Inventory & Material Management: Monitor material requirements, ensure timely availability of raw materials, and maintain optimal inventory levels (minimizing overstock and shortages).
- Workflow Coordination: Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Production teams to ensure a seamless workflow from raw materials to finished goods.
- Capacity Planning: Evaluate resource requirements (manpower, equipment, machinery) to meet production goals.
- Bottleneck Resolution & Troubleshooting: Identify production bottlenecks, supply shortages, or machinery issues and implement immediate corrective actions to minimize delays.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as On-Time Delivery (OTD), production efficiency, and, upon completion, report to management.
- System Maintenance: Utilize ERP/MRP systems to maintain accurate production data, work orders, and inventory records. Southern New Hampshire University 8
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Proven experience in a production planning, scheduling, or material management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDE) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, high attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge: Understanding of LEAN manufacturing techniques and quality control standards.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
