Paint Line Supervisor – 2nd Shift
The Paint Line Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily paint line operations on second shift to ensure safe, efficient production while maintaining quality standards. This role provides leadership to production employees, helps minimize downtime, and supports overall operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily paint line operations to ensure production schedules are met
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment for all employees
- Monitor paint line processes to ensure quality and efficiency
- Oversee paint system operations, including filtration systems and equipment checks
- Maintain proper chemical levels and monitor paint system performance
- Coordinate staffing needs and assign personnel as needed to support production demands
- Work with maintenance teams to address equipment issues and reduce downtime
- Ensure employees follow standard operating procedures and safety requirements
- Manage overtime needs based on production requirements
- Communicate operational updates between shifts and leadership teams
- Track production output and report quality concerns as needed
- Address employee performance concerns and partner with HR when necessary
- Support continuous improvement efforts within the department
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in paint, coatings, finishing, or similar production operations preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to solve problems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Basic to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office or Google Workspace preferred)
Salary : $85,000 - $90,000
