Applied AI Full Stack Engineer II (AWS) role focused on building and enhancing high-visibility full-stack products with applied AI capabilities. The position emphasizes outcome-driven engineering, cross-functional collaboration, and delivery from concept through production.

Experience

• 6 years of experience with most of the listed full-stack technologies
• 3 years of experience building AI/ML and agentic applications
• 3 years of experience with cloud-native engineering on cloud hyperscalers
• Experience with business context and technical diagramming concepts
• Prior software engineering experience with object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and code instrumentation
• Experience with AI-augmented spec-driven development
• Experience with modern delivery methodologies and tools for rapid product delivery
• Ability to travel 10% on average
  
  

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, machine learning, or related discipline
  
  

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance high-visibility full-stack products
• Drive customer and business outcomes with lean, high-quality engineering solutions
• Own inference, token, and cloud cost of what you build
• Serve as technical advocate for products
• Lead requirement analysis, component design, development, testing, integrations, and support
• Maintain code-design integrity and implementation fidelity to architecture and tech stack
• Create technical specifications and high-quality, supportable, scalable code
• Develop solutions through rapid, inexpensive experimentation
• Engage with customers and product teams before, during, and after delivery
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, build, and ship products end to end
• Translate business/user needs, architectures, and UX/UI designs into technical specifications and code
• Collaborate with product engineering teams across organizational levels to build constructive relationships
• Align diverse perspectives and drive consensus for feasible solutions

• Own ongoing maintenance and operations
• Continuously learn new approaches, languages, and frameworks
• Favor action and evidence over extensive planning
• Deliver lean, supportable, and maintainable solutions
• Use AI and Agentic SSDLC to support daily product deployments with full automation from discovery to production to operations and quality checks
• Quickly acquire domain-specific knowledge relevant to the business or product
• Be supportive of teammates and focused on quality and tech debt payoff
• Demonstrate exceptional communication and influence through evidence-based trade-offs
• Foster a collaborative environment that enhances team synergy and innovation
• Work within Deloitte Technology Product Engineering and its modernized product delivery model
