Commission Payer / Bookkeeping Specialist
Full-Time | At will W-2 | Mostly Remote | Utah-Based Preferred
Pay: $19/hour to start
We are hiring a Commission Payer / Bookkeeping Specialist to support a fast-growing real estate brokerage. This role is responsible for processing agent commission payouts, managing invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and maintaining accurate records in SkySlope Books and QuickBooks Online.
This is a detail-heavy role for someone who is strong with numbers, organized, and able to manage multiple moving parts without losing accuracy.
Responsibilities:
• Process agent commission payouts accurately and on time
• Calculate commission splits and payout distributions
• Manage invoicing, collections, A/R, and A/P
• Track agent fees and brokerage charges
• Reconcile payout reports against records and bank activity
• Maintain organized records for every file and payout
• Communicate with internal team members regarding payout timing and issues
• Self-motivated — works well remotely with minimal supervision
• Growth mindset — this role expands as we expand, and that's the expectation from day one
Qualifications:
• 2 years bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Strong QuickBooks Online experience
• A/R, A/P, invoicing, and collections experience
• Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
• Able to work independently in a mostly remote role
• Real estate, title, escrow, mortgage, or property management experience is a plus
• SkySlope Books experience is a plus
