Title: Director of Sales, West - Dental

Territory: Western US, can be based in Arizona or California.
Description: The ideal candidate is a strategic leader who can balance hands-on coaching with high-level planning, while building trusted relationships with clinicians, DSOs, and internal stakeholders.
The Director of Sales – West Division will report directly to the President and collaborate closely with Marketing, Digital Solutions, Operations, and Finance to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Lead and oversee the West U.S. sales organization, managing a team of regional and territory sales representatives
- Drive revenue growth and market penetration across a highly competitive full arch and implant dentistry landscape
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop top tier sales talent with a focus on long-term performance and cultural alignment
- Establish clear performance expectations, KPIs, and accountability across the sales team
- Coach and mentor sales representatives through ride alongs, pipeline reviews, and ongoing training initiatives
- Ensure consistent, ethical, and compliant sales practices aligned with company values and clinical standards
- Partner closely with marketing, education, clinical, and leadership teams to align strategy and execution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, KOLs, DSOs, and strategic partners
- Drive revenue growth across implants and Digital Solutions
- Ensure the sales organization meets or exceeds all quotas and KPIs.
- Use CRM data and analytics to monitor sales performance and adjust strategies proactively.
Requirements:.
- Can handle a larger geography and can grow the territory
- Minimum 7-10 years of sales experience in dental, medical device, or healthcare markets
- Direct experience in full arch dentistry (implants, surgical solutions, restorative workflows, or adjacent technologies)
- Proven success managing and scaling sales teams across large, multistate territories
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and retain high performing sales professionals
- Strong understanding of consultative selling in complex, relationship driven environments
- Ability to lead with integrity, transparency, and professionalism in an ultracompetitive market
- Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout the West U.S.
- Prior experience working with DSOs and large group practices
- Experience launching or expanding territories in competitive markets
- Background collaborating with clinical education or training teams
Compensation: $120-135k Base, $220-350k at plan uncapped – Car allowance, Gas, Expenses, 401k, and great benefits and More!
