Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
- Execute specialized floor care procedures such as carpet cleaning, waxing, polishing, and buffing to maintain flooring in top condition.
- Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items with efficiency and care.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs professionally and courteously during visits.
- Maintain proper sanitation standards by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to health guidelines.
- Assist with janitorial responsibilities such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and ensuring all cleaning equipment is properly maintained.
- Support housekeeping management by following established protocols for cleanliness and safety across all assigned areas.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments; janitorial or hotel experience is highly valued.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, sanitation practices, and laundry procedures.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, bending, and reaching.
- Familiarity with cleaning tools and equipment; experience with custodial supplies preferred.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
