Locations (2): Dublin, Ohio and Downtown, Columbus
Compensation: $25-40/hour, commensurate with experience
Schedule hours:
- Mondays (Dublin): 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Tuesdays (Downtown): 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Wednesday (Dublin): 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Thursdays (Dublin): 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Fridays (Dublin): 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Position Overview:
Tooth Family Dentistry is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our dynamic dental team. The Treatment Coordinator acts as a liaison between patients and our clinical staff, ensuring a smooth, informed, and positive patient experience from consultation through treatment completion. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of empathy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Clearly explain recommended treatment plans and procedures, answering patient questions and addressing concerns
- Coordinate scheduling of appointments and follow-ups, optimizing provider and patient time
- Present financial options to patients, discuss insurance coverage, and assist with payment arrangements
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries related to treatment plans, insurance, and billing
- Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Track and follow up on pending treatment plans to optimize patient retention and practice productivity
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on practice protocols and new services
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in sales
- Experience in a dental office or healthcare setting is a plus
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to explain complex information in a clear and compassionate manner
- Familiarity with dental practice management software
- Knowledge of dental insurance and financial arrangements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree completed
