We are seeking a skilled and motivated 2nd shift Lead CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team in Germantown, WI. In this role, you will lead a dedicated group of 2nd shift machinists, ensuring the efficient operation of CNC machinery while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of CNC machinists to ensure timely and accurate production.
• Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills, to produce high-quality components.
• Monitor job performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal production levels.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve processes and resolve any machining issues.
• Train and mentor team members on best practices in CNC machining and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections of in-process machined parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
• 10 years experience as a CNC machinist
• 3 years experience offline programming experience (Mastercam a plus)
• Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling selection.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and G,D&T callouts.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a focus on team collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in a machining environment.
