What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tooele Education Foundation Resource Development and Grant Writing Specialist (Part- Time) position at Tooele County School District?
- Grant Writing and Management: Research, write, and submit compelling grant proposals to support the mission of the Tooele Education Foundation. Manage the entire grant lifecycle, including reporting and compliance.
- Resource Development: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, community leaders, and potential donors. Identify and engage new partners to support the mission of the Tooele Education Foundation.
- Donation Generation: Collaborate with TEF staff to develop and execute fundraising campaigns and initiatives to secure individual and corporate donations.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with TEF staff to develop and implement a comprehensive resource development strategy.
- Tooele Education Foundation: Other tasks as assigned and/or needed.
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field
- Knowledge, Skills,and Ability Requirements
- Proven experience in grant writing, fundraising, and resource development.
- Strong track record of successfully securing grants and donations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Experience with sales and negotiation is highly desirable.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
- Standard office environment
- Ability to work offsite and/or outdoors on occasion
