SWIM COACH
Cyclical, Variable Hours
Level I: $18.08/hr. | Level II: $19.00/hr.
Will Hire at Level I or II depending on Qualifications
The Pratt Aquatic Center is looking for a passionate Swim Coach to lead and develop swimmers in our Age Group and USA Swim Team programs. This role includes planning and conducting practices, teaching technique, and fostering swimmer growth in a safe, supportive environment. You'll work with athletes of all skill levels and collaborate with parents and staff to achieve team goals.
We are seeking applicants who:
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Are 18 years or older at the time of hire.
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Are self-motivated and passionate about swimming.
- Have at least 2 years of competitive swimming experience (as a coach or competitor).
- Bring a minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory, coaching, or leadership role in recreational or competitive swimming.
For level II, our ideal candidate will also:
- Have experience in Team Unify, Colorado Timing System and/or other swim team related certifications.
- Have Current USA Swim Coach Certification.
- Have Current certification in First-Aid/CPR/AED.
- Have Lifeguard or Water Safety Instructor Certification.
