Duties
- Manage daily health club operations, including member check-ins, class schedules, and facility maintenance
- Lead, supervise, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve performance goals
- Oversee member onboarding, including orientations and addressing their fitness needs
- Handle administrative tasks such as payroll, bookkeeping, inventory management, and purchasing supplies
- Implement marketing initiatives to attract new members and retain existing ones
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and health standards to maintain a secure environment
- Conduct interviews, participate in recruiting efforts, and facilitate training & development programs for staff
- Starting pay based on experience
Skills
- Strong management skills with experience supervising teams in a retail or fitness environment
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Proficiency in negotiation, sales management, and retail math to meet membership targets
- Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering procedures, and inventory control practices
- Demonstrated leadership in training & development, shift management, and employee orientation
- Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately and efficiently
- Organizational skills with experience in budgeting, merchandising, marketing, and administrative tasks
- Exceptional customer service skills with phone etiquette and interpersonal finesse
- Experience with recruiting, interviewing, employee onboarding, and performance management
- Familiarity with wireless sales or retail sales environments is a plus
- Strong time management skills combined with multitasking ability in a fast-paced setting
