Tonys Italian Restaurant in Bremerton, WA is looking for a cook to join our team. We are located on 4908 Kitsap Way. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Set up workstations and stock ingredients for use during shift
- Follow recipes and prepare large batches for the pizza and pasta lines
- Cook customer ordered dishes to business standards
- Follow health and safety guidelines for preparing food, cooking food, and personal care.
- Keep restaurant and workstations clean and ready for the next shift
- Assist customers with their orders using a POS system.
- Help with kitchen upkeep such as washing dishes, deep cleaning equipment, etc.
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a cook in a commercial kitchen
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, utensils, and food safety rules
- Ability to follow recipes and prepare food with little supervision
- Strong attention to detail and capability for fast-paced multi-tasking
- Ability to be reliable, listen and communicate effectively, and show respect and support towards the team
