Job Summary:
Repair damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards

Essential Job Responsibilities
List the essential job duties that are specific to the position.
- Body repair work -Prepares and repairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturers and dealership standards. Check body parts against the estimate and ensure proper parts are ordered and received. Must advise management of any deviations from the estimate.
- Tools and Equipment – Must maintain in proper state of repair and advise management of any needed repairs.
- Safety – Must wear all safety and health personal protective equipment as mandated and operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
- Compliance – Must company with all federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal. OSHA Right-to-know, etc

Education and Experience:
Associates degree or technical school certification or equivalent with a minimum of 6 months of related experience.
Physical Requirements:
regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
