Tonkin Hillsboro Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram has a wonderful opening for an individual who would like to start a career in the automotive industry. This opportunity does not require previous automotive experience. We are seeking out a Lot Attendant/Porter to join our dealership. This position is a perfect way to get an understanding of the automotive industry and how a dealership works. Many of our Lot Attendants/Porters go on to become Sales Representatives or Technicians. Working as our Lot Attendant/Porter, your duties would range from assisting in detailing cars to rearranging the car lot. The ideal candidate would have a great work ethic and great people skills.
Lot Attendant/Porter Job Responsibilities
- Perform check-in inspections of vehicles on the service drive and park them in designated areas.
- Pull vehicles up and deliver to guests upon completion.
- Provide quality customer service to guests.
- Maintain an orderly appearance of vehicle displays.
- Clean and fuel vehicles for customer handover.
- Assist service advisors as necessary.
- Other duties as needed to help support the Service team.
Schedule: Full/Part-Time from Tuesday to Friday and all day Saturday

Lot Attendant/Porter Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Driver’s License.
Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be 18 years or older & have a clean driving record with a valid driver’s license, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug testing.
