What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at Tone House Coffee?
Tone House Coffee is a specialty coffee shop opening soon in Rocky River, Ohio. We're looking for part-time baristas who care about making great coffee and creating a welcoming space for our community.
No prior barista experience is required if you're eager to learn. We'll train you on espresso, milk texturing, and everything you need to be confident behind the bar. What matters most is your attitude and work ethic.
What You'll Do
- Prepare espresso drinks, pour-overs, and other beverages to our standards
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and stocked throughout your shift
- Provide friendly, attentive service to every customer
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Help with light prep, restocking, and closing tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
- Dependable and punctual, someone the team can count on
- Friendly and personable, comfortable interacting with customers
- Willing to learn and take feedback
- Coffee experience is a plus but not required
- Must be at least 16 years old

- Position: Part-Time Barista
- Hours: ~20-30 hours/week, flexible scheduling (mornings, some weekends)
