Full-time Teacher Assistant position for the Tonawanda City School District. Must hold current, valid NYS certification as Teacher Assistant or other content area and fingerprint clearance. Duties as assigned under direct supervision of principal and Director of Pupil Personnel Services. Duties include:
Support classroom teachers to allow for student success.
Proctor and help conduct examinations
Manage records, materials and equipment
Supervise students in remedial work as directed by classroom teacher
Attend staff meetings and in-service trainings when required
May include individual student supervision as required by IEP's
Promote student positive interactions and involvement within the classroom
Other duties as assigned
