Are you the expert others call when parts have to be right the first time? Join TOMZ and take ownership of complex CNC set-ups, production, and inspections for life-changing medical device components. You’ll combine meticulous craftsmanship with rigorous documentation to keep quality and throughput on target. What you will do Set up and run complex jobs on: Citizen/Tsugami CNC Swiss lathes; Index multi-spindle lathes; Willemin mill-turns; and 3-, 4-, 5-axis mills.Operate anodize and passivation lines as part of an integrated manufacturing flow.Maintain production by making offsets, changing tools, and troubleshooting to sustain efficiency with minimal support.Execute first-article inspections independently; complete AQL sampling and record results directly in the ERP.Handle NPI activities: customer-spec qualification runs and Zeiss (or similar) CMM Gage R&R.Measure precisely using microscopes, micrometers, calipers, pin/thread gages, comparators, micro-hite, CMM, and vision systems.Drive problem-solving on complex machines/process issues; train Machinists I–III on best practices.Use QMS and ERP to manage inspection records, material identification, and full traceability for conforming and nonconforming product.Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and make basic updates to FANUC (or similar) robot programs.Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements; contribute to additional duties as assigned. What sets you apart Proven success in a regulated medical manufacturing environment (Class I/II/III devices).Deep familiarity with ISO 13485, QMS practices, GDP/GMP, and quality inspection documentation.Ability to read drawings and GD&T, edit programs at the control, and execute precision set-ups on tight-tolerance parts.Hands-on aptitude with mechanical equipment; skilled with hand tools for maintenance and tooling changes.Detail-driven, organized, and fast without sacrificing quality.Collaborative partner to R&D, Manufacturing, and QA; capable of independent work and leadership. Background we’re looking for Machine trades technical certification or equivalent relevant experience (Manufacturing/Engineering preferred).Either certification 10 years in regulated medical manufacturing, or 15 years in regulated medical manufacturing.Bonus: Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Word; strong English communication.
