Join Tompkins County as our next Highway DirectorTompkins County is seeking a collaborative and forward-thinking leader to serve as Highway Director, responsible for overseeing the County's road and bridge infrastructure and managing the Highway Department, including the Division of Weights and Measures. This critical role requires an experienced administrator who can lead a modern, customer-responsive highway operation—balancing planning, construction, maintenance, budgeting, and compliance.The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of transportation systems, strong fiscal and project management skills, and a commitment to inclusive and equitable public service.
