We’re looking for a Manager-in-Training to join our team. As a Manager-in-Training, you’ll dive into the action and learn exactly what it takes to operate a top-tier Tommy’s Express location. Through Tommy University and a personalized development track, you’ll be coached by seasoned mentors and build the leadership, operations, and guest experience skills that set our leaders apart.
Position Responsibilities (upon completion of the Manager-in-Training program):
- The position is responsible for protecting profitability, growing the business, and confidently representing the company.
- You will oversee daily operations—including shifts, scheduling, delegation, compliance, and policy maintenance.
- You will lead and develop all leaders and team members on site through strong communication, training, and performance management.
- This role includes hiring top talent, setting clear goals, and professionally handling HR or disciplinary matters.
- You will ensure the site remains safe, clean, and well-maintained while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- You will manage invoices, paperwork, POS systems, and monthly inspections with accuracy.
- You will drive top-tier KPIs, uphold Tommy’s standards, and champion the Unlimited Club.
- You will serve as the face of the company and take on any tasks that support the business and its guests.

Position Qualifications & Candidate Attributes:
- A high school diploma or equivalent training and experience is required, along with 3–5 years of managerial or related leadership experience.
- Candidates should be tech-savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office, and comfortable navigating database systems.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
This role operates in a dynamic retail car wash environment with hours from 7:00am to 9:00pm, Monday through Sunday, and may involve travel to other TXO locations for training or support.
To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, team member must be able to:
- work and commute in all weather conditions while effectively communicating and collaborating with others
- frequently walk, stand, bend, twist, climb, reach, and handle equipment
- work in a fast-paced environment, multitask daily, operate heavy and technical equipment, lift up to 50–70 lbs, and safely use tools, ladders, and measuring devices
- comfortably work with vibrating tools and louder-than-normal conditions while staying agile and focused throughout each shift
