Tomahawk Manufacturing, Inc. is a globally recognized, family-owned OEM specializing in food forming equipment solutions. With operations in Wisconsin, Georgia, and the Netherlands, we are entering an exciting next phase of growth, and we are seeking a Corporate Controller to serve as a key financial leader within our organization.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role reporting directly to the Owner/President, with a dotted-line relationship to the Chief Operating Officer. You will oversee all accounting, including leading cost accounting and manufacturing analysis, financial reporting for multiple entities, and tax and financial compliance. This role also supports strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacturing cost accounting: standard costing, BOMs, routings, WIP, inventory valuation, variance analysis.
- Month-end and year-end close; preparation of monthly financial statements; budgeting and forecasting. Consolidated financial statements and FX analysis/reporting.
- Cash flow management, banking relationships, and financial risk management.
- Lead and develop the accounting team. Ensure internal controls and consistency in accounting across all companies.
- Continuous improvement and streamlining processes to take advantage of new technology and free up resources for higher value finance work. (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power BI, AI analysis tools).
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain and Sales to provide financial insights and metrics that drive improvement.
Qualifications
- 7–10 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing or OEM environment
- Proven experience as a Controller or Senior Accounting Leader
- Strong background in cost accounting, inventory accounting, and WIP
- Experience with multi-entity consolidation and international operations
- ERP experience required (Business Central preferred)
- CPA/CMA helpful but not required
