We are seeking an energetic and personable Server/Bartender to join our Tom Archer's team! Duties
- Take accurate orders from guests using a Toast POS system
- Serve food and beverages with enthusiasm, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities efficiently, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness throughout service areas
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and cleanup of service stations during shifts to ensure smooth operations
- Engage with guests proactively to promote specials or upsell menu items, boosting sales while creating a lively atmosphere
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred
- Bar experience required
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing
- Experience working in nightclubs or catering environments is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm
