What are the responsibilities and job description for the BSA Analyst position at Tolleson Wealth Management?
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the success of the Bank's BSA/AML, USA PATRIOT Act and OFAC Programs by ensuring compliance on all related banking laws and guidance as appropriate
- Collaborate with other BSA team members to manage compliance change management process, including logging, completing necessary documentation, and updating various relevant policies and procedures as appropriate
- Responsible for processing public records investigations to complete non-documentary portion of CIP process
- Responsible for transaction monitoring for suspicious activity and for ensuring alerts are cleared in a timely manner, as well as determine if further investigation is warranted.
- Responsible for ensuring CTRs and SARs are completed accurately and in a timely manner for final approval and submission.
- Performs CIP and CDD/EDD reviews on new and existing accounts.
- Assist in the management of BSA training for the bank
- Assist with ensuring OFAC, 314(a), and other Watch List reviews are completed and false positives are adequately documented as appropriate
- Assist in the support of all employees on BSA/CIP/OFAC related matters
- Assist in coordination, collection and assemblage of information related to regulatory exams and internal audits, including responding to interview requests, on-site questions and assembling detailed responses to requests for information
- Assist as needed with preparing and maintaining work papers and reports related to internal reviews, including scanning and indexing same, suitable for inspection by examiners and audit staff
- Assist in the updating and completion of relevant BSA/OFAC risk assessments
- Attend regular BSA-related webinars, seminars, and other training in order to stay abreast of regulatory changes
- Adhere to all company related policies and procedures
- Other administrative duties as assigned by management
Position Requirements:
- 1-3 years prior financial institution BSA/AML or fraud experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of BSA/AML, USA PATRIOT ACT, CIP and OFAC
- Functional understanding of bank operational areas.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Outlook and Office suite of products required. Experience with related industry systems and software a plus
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
