Your Opportunity Team Global Express are looking for an adaptable, enthusiastic Regional Pallet Controller, looking after the Northland and New Plymouth branch pallet controls. The day-to-day tasks for this role will include coordinating and monitoring all aspects of pallets, keeping accurate and complete records of movements through the branches while working towards minimising rental costs. To succeed in this role, you will be able to communicate effectively and maintain good working relationships. What you’ll bring to this role To be successful in this role, you could have the following experience: Key Responsibilities Following health and safety policies Management of pallet accounts Pallet process training, development and compliance Ensuring a high level of customer service is achieved Accurate and timely record keeping Identifying, monitoring and improving equipment movements Key Skills & Experience At least 5 years’ experience in the Transport or Logistics industry Tertiary qualification in Transport or Logistics (preferred, not essential) Experience with pallet tracking (preferred, not essential) Strong knowledge of computer systems and information technology Experience with Microsoft Office products Experience with 2IC pallet software (preferred, not essential) Strong ability to analyse and interpret information Great communication skills both written and verbal Ability to build and maintain strong relationships Positive ‘can do’ attitude showing resilience and adaptability Excellent time management skills In return, we deliver a top-class work environment where we put you first.
