What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Scheduler – NYC DEP Capital Program position at Toll International LLC?
Hard work. Long days. Zero anonymity. Every mistake leaves a trace in concrete, steel, and water supply.
Toll International is recruiting a Senior Scheduler who is willing to stand in the line of fire between design, construction, and time itself on a major NYC Department of Environmental Protection (NYC DEP) project in Yonkers, NY.
This is not a back-office role. This is for the scheduler who knows that a single bad logic tie can ripple through a billion-dollar program, and who still chooses to own the schedule anyway.
The Mission:
- Build and defend Primavera P6 schedules that can withstand change orders, late submittals, and real-world field conditions.
- Turn fragmented information from contractors, inspectors, and engineers into a coherent critical path.
- See delays before others sense them, quantify the impact, and recommend a way through.
- Write clear schedule narratives that withstand client and auditor scrutiny.
- Support time impact and claims analysis when things go wrong—and they will.
- Hold the line so that scope, cost, and time stay aligned, even when the project is under pressure.
What You Must Bring
- 10 years of hands-on construction scheduling and project controls experience on large capital projects.
- Direct NYC DEP project experience (water, wastewater, tunnels, plants, or related infrastructure).
- AACEI PSP certification – non-negotiable.
- Mastery of Primavera P6.
- Ability to speak both “field” and “boardroom” fluently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
If you have not lived through at least one hard project where you had to rebuild a broken schedule and regain control, this role is not for you.
Conditions
- On-site presence in Yonkers, NY with the project team.
- Salary: USD $180,000 – $220,000 per year, based on experience and impact.
- High expectations, high visibility, high accountability.
How to Step Forward:
If you recognize yourself in this description and are ready to carry the schedule for one of the most critical infrastructure owners in the world:
- Email your resume to: tollinternational@tollintl.com
- Complete the employment assessment at: tollintl.com/careers
Only candidates who complete both steps and meet the NYC DEP experience and AACEI PSP requirements will be considered.
