Position Overview
The Engineering Technology System Analyst is a critical role within the Engineering Solutions HW/SW Support group, responsible for supporting and optimizing a diverse portfolio of engineering applications and cloud-based platforms. This role provides both technical expertise and strategic insight to enhance engineering workflows, improve system performance, and support data-driven decision-making across the Engineering Department.
The position works cross-functionally with Engineering, Architecture & Design, Technology, and Cybersecurity teams to evaluate, implement, and maintain software and hardware solutions aligned with organizational standards. The Analyst plays a key role in advancing digital engineering capabilities, particularly within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) environment, while ensuring system integrity, efficiency, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
· Administer and support engineering applications including Autodesk Construction Cloud, Revit, Bluebeam, Leica Cyclone, Esri ArcGIS, and related platforms
· Coordinate software deployments, upgrades, and version control across engineering systems and tools
· Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations on engineering software, cloud platforms, and hardware solutions
· Collaborate with Technology and Cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security, compatibility, and performance standards
· Manage software and hardware inventory, including license utilization analysis and contract renewals
· Support budgeting activities by assisting in annual SW/HW planning and monitoring monthly expenditures
· Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides, and technical procedures
· Deliver onboarding support and training sessions to engineering staff on tools and best practices
· Troubleshoot application issues and implement minor system enhancements based on user feedback
· Participate in stakeholder meetings to gather requirements, communicate updates, and align on initiatives
· Facilitate internal knowledge-sharing sessions (“Knowledge Bar”) to promote effective system usage
· Partner with senior engineering leadership to define system roadmaps and support strategic planning
· Translate project goals into actionable tasks, prioritize workloads, and coordinate execution across teams
Required Qualifications
· Minimum 5 years of experience in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) sector, with direct involvement in AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks environments
· Proven experience in engineering data and document management systems, including project information workflows and collaboration platforms
· Hands-on expertise (5 years) with PDF and markup tools, specifically Adobe Acrobat Pro and Bluebeam Revu, for document production, editing, and collaboration
· Demonstrated experience supporting engineering applications and systems, including Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and similar platforms
· Strong background in managing 3D scanned point cloud data and storage systems
· Advanced system analysis skills, including the ability to generate detailed reports on software usage, licensing, and system performance
· Working knowledge of Azure Cloud technologies, particularly within data storage environments such as Azure Data Lake
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with working knowledge of Power BI or other data visualization tools
· Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
· Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) certification
· Experience with additional engineering platforms such as e-Builder, NearMap, or BMMS
· Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and best practices related to engineering systems
· Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure or public-sector projects
· Exposure to virtual design and construction (VDC) workflows

Salary Range:
$145,600 - $176,800 USD Annually
