Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently and promptly
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing food service areas as needed
- Support food preparation activities by handling ingredients and cleaning workstations
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas in compliance with health standards
- Assist with basic food handling tasks and support catering or banquet setups when required
- Ensure all dishes are stored properly and kitchen areas are kept tidy throughout shifts
- Follow safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and kitchen equipment
- Support the culinary team with general kitchen duties to ensure smooth operation during service hours
- Sweeping the floor and mopping floors
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, catering, or culinary environment is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
