What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fine Dining Server position at Étoile?
Étoile is a farm-to-table fine dining restaurant on Magazine Street in Uptown New Orleans. We source the majority of our ingredients from local and regional farms and food artisans.
We are seeking fine dining professionals.

Ideal candidates will:
- have a background in fine dining service and solid experience with wine and spirits.
- have experience in wine service.
- have great attention to detail.
- be responsible and reliable.
- have an understanding of true hospitality and be supportive of our farm-to-table vision.
- be adaptable and understand the need to consistently grow, learn, and improve in service and knowledge.
We are open for dinner service Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. We also have upcoming private events and property buy-outs.
Étoile is an intimate dining experience with two seatings per night at 7 pm and 8pm, and we strive to make our guests feel like they're invited into our home for a dinner party. The tasting menu is 7 to 10 courses with optional wine pairings, and is currently reservation only. Service is expected to expand in the very near future!
An embedded passion of eating and supporting local is a major plus! We are truly committed to what we do!

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service in a fine dining environment, ensuring our guests are left with a memorable experience.
- Demonstrate extensive food, wine, and cocktail knowledge and be willing to continuously learn in order to confidently speak with and advise guests on food, wine, and craft beverages.
- Easily collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Manage time effectively to remain in rhythm and ensure the optimal experience for our guests.
