Location: Dallas TX (Hybrid)

Salary: $150-175k 

Full-Time | Hands-On Tax Manager with Growth

We are a Dallas-based accounting firm that’s all about delivering top-notch tax and accounting services with a personal touch. Due to growth and demand for our services, we’re looking for a Tax Manager who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, review complex tax returns, and lead our tax team to keep things running smoothly. This role is all about hands-on tax expertise and guiding the crew, with some client chats on the side.

What You’ll Do

• Dig into reviewing federal, state, and local tax returns (think corporate, partnership, individual) to ensure they’re spot-on.

• Lead a team of Tax Seniors and Associates, assigning tasks, giving feedback, and helping them grow.

• Tackle tricky tax research to solve technical issues and stay compliant.

• Streamline tax prep and review processes to keep things efficient.

• Handle occasional client questions on technical tax stuff, but focus on the work, not relationship management.

• Team up with partners to make sure our tax deliverables hit the mark.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or similar; CPA or Master’s in Taxation is a big plus.

• Active CPA license (or EA/JD equivalent).

• 8 years of tax experience, with a knack for reviewing complex returns.

• Diverse industry experience including real estate, construction, hospitality, healthcare, and more.

• Solid knowledge of federal and state tax rules (C-Corp, S-Corp, partnerships, etc.).

• Experience leading and mentoring a team.

• Comfortable with tax software (like CCH Axcess or UltraTax) and MS Office.
