Full Job Description
- Prepare meals as per our standard recipes and presentation specifications.
- Maintain a safe working environment by using proper food handling skills in accordance with food safety guidelines.
- Complete kitchen tasks such as setup, food preparation, and breakdown.
- Thoroughly understand, operate, and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Clean and organize the kitchen and food prep areas.
- Restock and prep items as needed throughout the shift.
- Cost Control- understanding of portion control, recipe cards, ordering and rotation of food, use of waste tracking sheets.
- Must possess a positive attitude, be teamwork oriented, and have excellent communication skills in the kitchen.
- ServSafe Food Handler certificate would be a nice to have or be obtained upon hiring.
- Must have reliable transportation.

Physical Setting:
- Workdays, nights and/or weekends as required.
- Work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions.
- Lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Move about facility and stand for long periods of time.

- Reach, bend and stoop frequently.
Education / Experience / Skills
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Cooking: 2 years
- Bar\Restaurant Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
- Computer literacy
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- basic mathematical skills
- basic reading skills- read and write handwritten notes.
- basic computer skills- pos handling
