Job Summary
Todd's Welding Service is seeking a dependable, hardworking General Shop Laborer to assist with daily shop operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with sandblasting and operating a fork truck and/or skid steer. This position requires the ability to routinely lift up to 50lbs and work in a non-climate controlled environment. A strong work ethic, attention to detail and a commitment to safety are musts. This is a full time, Monday - Friday position that offers consistent work and the opportunity to be part of a great team!
Responsibilities
- Perform general shop labor, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Operate sandblasting equipment to prepare metal and other surfaces for finishing.
- Safely operate a forklift and/or skid steer to move, load, and unload materials.
- Assist with material handling, equipment movement, and other shop tasks as needed.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Assist team members with additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous sandblasting experience.
- Experience operating a forklift and/or skid steer preferred.
- Ability to safely handle materials and perform physical labor.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with others.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
