Healthcare Litigation Associate (3–7 Years Experience)
A well establish law firm in New York is seeking a motivated and skilled Healthcare Litigation Associate to join their growing practice. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex and meaningful cases representing healthcare providers and healthcare facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage an active caseload with minimal supervision from inception through resolution
- Draft and respond to pleadings
- Conduct written and depositions-based discovery
- Handle motion practice, including drafting and arguing motions
- Perform detailed medical record review and case analysis
- Collaborate with and prepare expert witnesses
- Participate in trial preparation and attend trial as opportunities arise
Qualifications:
- 3–7 years of litigation experience
- Experience in medical malpractice, nursing home litigation, or allied health matters preferred
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage cases and meet deadlines
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and organizational skills
- Experience working with medical records and expert witnesses
