Responsibilities
- Assist dentists with chairside procedures, including preparing instruments and materials for treatments such as restorations, extractions, and oral surgeries
- Take X-rays
- Sterilizing dental instruments following infection prevention management
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic setting with knowledge of dental terminology and clinical procedures
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques such as four-handed dentistry, dental instrument processing, and oral surgery support
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, infection control standards, and sterilization protocols to ensure patient safety and confidentiality
- Ability to perform X-ray procedures accurately
