At Toby's Tavern, we serve up more than legendary fish & chips—we create memories. Nestled in the heart of historic Coupeville on beautiful Whidbey Island, we're a local favorite known for fresh food, cold beer, quality wine, and plenty of laughter along the way.
We're looking for dependable, hardworking people who enjoy staying busy, taking pride in their work, and having a little fun while doing it. If you can handle a dinner rush, laugh with your teammates, and don't mind the occasional "Where's my tartar sauce?"—you'll fit right in.
What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare and cook menu items with consistency and care.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and ready for action.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards (because nobody likes surprises).
- Receive deliveries and keep inventory organized.
- Run food to guests and help keep service moving smoothly.
- Pour beer and wine when needed with friendly, efficient service.
- Bus tables and help keep the dining room welcoming.
- Jump in wherever needed—around here, we all wear a few hats.
What We're Looking For
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment where the day flies by.
- A team player who's willing to help wherever needed.
- Kitchen or restaurant experience is great—but we'll happily train the right person.
