General Description: This position performs general maintenance support needed to transition from one school year to another. This is a temporary position.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assists with moving furniture and equipment within and among school facilities
- Performs facilities or grounds maintenance work using a variety of materials, tools, equipment and techniques
- Cleans and assists with the upkeep of facilities
- Performs related duties as required or assigned
- This job requires strength, agility, dexterity, and visual acuity to perform all tasks
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee must adhere to all site safety regulations
- The employee may be required to regularly stand, sit, walk, bend, climb ladders, and/or kneel
- There may be exposure to extreme heat and cold, outdoor and indoor environments, heavy equipment, moving machinery, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noises
- This job requires lifting up to 50 lbs. and occasional lifting/moving up to 100 lbs. alone or with others
- Verbal communication and hearing may be required for expressing or exchanging information
- Use of computer or other device screens is necessary
- 8 hrs per day
- Monday-Friday
- Must be 18 yrs of age
