Duties

• Prepare concrete mixes using mixers and ensure proper proportions for each project.
• Set up forms and frameworks for concrete pouring, including rebar installation for reinforced structures.
• Operate power tools and heavy equipment such as concrete pumps, mixers, and screeding machines to facilitate efficient work.
• Finish concrete surfaces with techniques like troweling, smoothing, and texturing to meet project specifications.
• Read blueprints and schematics accurately to follow detailed construction plans for residential, commercial, or renovation projects.
• Install various finishes such as stucco, plastering, tile laying, flooring, or trim carpentry to enhance structural aesthetics.
• Perform heavy lifting safely while managing materials like rebar, formwork panels, and concrete bags on busy sites.
• Assist with masonry tasks including metal stud framing and other masonry work as needed for comprehensive project completion.
• Maintain safety standards by adhering to protocols for heavy equipment operation, scaffolding setup, and site cleanup.
• Collaborate with team members on restoration or renovation projects to ensure quality craftsmanship from start to finish.

• Strong understanding of construction estimating processes helps in planning materials and timelines effectively.
• Expertise in rebar installation, concrete forming, and finishing techniques ensures durable results.

• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately supports precise execution of projects.
• Experience with masonry work including stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, and plastering is highly valued.
• Knowledge of roofing systems, caulking methods, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and restoration enhances versatility on-site.
• Physical strength for heavy lifting combined with stamina for long shifts on construction sites is necessary.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience operating heavy equipment can be advantageous.
