3D Printer Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented 3D Printer Technician to join our innovative manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced 3D printing equipment to produce high-quality prototypes and parts. Your expertise will ensure seamless production workflows, adherence to safety standards, and continuous process improvement. Responsibilities

• Position Summary:

Supervises all robotic 3D printing operations, overseeing calibration, material feed control, and production quality. The Robotics Lead ensures continuous uptime, safety, and coordination between print design and execution.

Core Responsibilities:

• Operate, calibrate, and maintain 3D concrete printing systems.
• Supervise print crew, including Robotics Assistants and Material Operators.
• Verify G-code accuracy and adjust print parameters as needed.
• Troubleshoot print interruptions or material inconsistencies.
• Maintain safety and quality control logs for each print cycle.
• Coordinate with design engineers and facilities staff for site readiness.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Construction Technology, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years in digital fabrication or robotics.
• Familiarity with slicing software, material rheology, and calibration systems.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of 3D printing technologies such as FDM, SLA, SLS (Selective Laser Sintering), and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software

• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and measurements using tools like micrometers or calipers
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting hardware/software issues
