About the Role
TNT Excavation is looking for an experienced, dependable Tri-Axle Dump Truck Driver to join our crew. You’ll be hauling materials—dirt, gravel, stone, and asphalt—to and from job sites on local routes. If you take pride in safe driving, keeping your equipment in top shape, and showing up ready to work, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Operate a tri-axle dump truck hauling dirt, gravel, stone, asphalt, and other materials to and from job sites
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections every shift
- Maintain accurate logs in compliance with state and federal DOT regulations
- Communicate with dispatch and site supervisors to coordinate deliveries and pickups
- Follow all traffic laws, weight limits, and company safety policies at all times
- Identify and report mechanical issues to the shop; perform basic maintenance as needed
- Keep assigned equipment clean and presentable — inside and out
- Occasionally rotate weekend shifts as the schedule requires
Requirements
- Class A or Class B CDL (required)
- Valid DOT Medical Card (required)
- Minimum 2 years of truck experience
- Clean MVR — no serious violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to operate a manual transmission
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and DOT physical
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
